Qlauz Terms of Service

1. Overview

Qlauz (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered contract review service that analyzes user-submitted documents or text and produces automated summaries, clause highlights, and risk indicators.

By accessing or using qlauz.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Nature of the Service (Important)

• Qlauz provides automated, informational analysis only.
• Qlauz is not a law firm.
• Qlauz does not provide legal advice.
• No attorney-client relationship is created.
• Results are generated by software and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel.
• You are solely responsible for how you use the output.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Qlauz. By using the service, you confirm that you have the legal right to upload or submit the content you provide.

4. Accounts & Authentication

Qlauz uses email-based authentication (magic links). You are responsible for maintaining access to your email and for any activity performed under your account. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by loss of email control.

5. Credits & Payments

Credits

• Each contract review consumes 1 credit.
• Credits are purchased in advance.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account.

Payments

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are displayed clearly before purchase. Taxes may apply depending on location.

Refunds

Because the service delivers immediate digital results: used credits are non-refundable. Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion in exceptional cases.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload content you do not have rights to; upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content; attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the service; abuse the platform through automated or excessive usage. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Uploaded Content

You retain ownership of all documents or text you submit. By using Qlauz, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your content solely to provide the service. We do not sell or reuse your documents.

8. Data Retention

Uploaded files and generated reports may be stored temporarily to allow you to access your results. We may delete uploaded files after a reasonable period for security and operational purposes.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Qlauz may update features, modify outputs, perform maintenance, or temporarily suspend access if required.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or legal sufficiency of outputs. Use at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Qlauz shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of business, data, or profits, or decisions made based on automated analysis. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid to Qlauz in the prior 12 months.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Qlauz after changes constitutes acceptance.
